Exclusive: Winwyn Marquez talks about adjusting to baby’s needs, having a great partner

Winwyn Marquez was asked by KAMI in an interview about what she discovered about herself while caring for her first child, baby Luna.

According to Winwyn, she learns something new every day as Luna grows bigger.

The actress said that she discovered how patient, flexible, and adaptive she is because of her experiences with Luna.

“Everyday may bago ako matutunan, everyday lumalaki si Luna at pabago-bago ang things na need niya, na realize ko na napaka haba ng patience ko at talagang ako ang mag aadjust sa lahat para sa anak ko para okay siya,” Winwyn said.

Fortunately, Winwyn gets a lot of help and support from her non-showbiz partner, who always reminds her to also focus on her well-being. She also described her and her partner as hands-on parents.

“I’m super lucky sa partner ko, wala ako masabi sa kanya bilang dad ni Luna and partner ko kasi lagi siya nandiyan for us. He makes sure na okay kami, na okay ako. He keeps on reminding me na I need to take care of myself din na hindi mawala sa isip ko na priority ko din well-being ko. Hands on kasi kami pareho and talagang partners kami sa lahat ng bagay lalo na sa baby namin,” she told KAMI.

Teresita Ssen Lacsamana Marquez, also known as Winwyn Marquez, is a Filipina celebrity and beauty queen. She is the daughter of Alma Moreno and actor Joey Marquez. She was the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas titleholder in the Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant.

In a previous report by KAMI, Winwyn's post on her Instagram stories touched her fans and followers. She uploaded photos of her baby girl Luna meeting her grandmother Alma Moreno for the very first time. Alma seemed to have enjoyed spending quality time with baby Luna, based on the viral pics. According to Winwyn, Alma prefers to be called “Mama Ness” instead of “Lola Ness."

Earlier, Lolit Solis felt ecstatic over Jennylyn Mercardo and Winwyn Marquez giving birth around the same time. She believes that both actresses have what it takes to be good and responsible mothers to their babies. The showbiz reporter also praised Jennylyn and Winwyn for looking beautiful despite going through pregnancy and labor.
