Paul Soriano admits to having past disagreements with Toni Gonzaga’s parents

Toni Gonzaga got to interview her husband Paul Soriano on her famous YouTube vlog.
KAMI learned that Toni asked the popular filmmaker some difficult questions about his life and career.
One of the questions she asked him was about the most difficult challenges he faced while he was still dating Toni.
Aside from the publicity, Paul also cited dealing with Toni’s parents – Carlito and Pinty – as a challenge.
He said that there were times when he had disagreements with Toni’s parents but that he stuck with her through it all.
“Of course, your parents. With your parents naman, at the end of the day, you just have to respect.
“We may not agree, so you agree to disagree. Ganun lang, that’s just the choice I did.
“I wanna be with their daughter, ganito mga rules nila, even if I don’t agree.
“That’s two things: If I disagree, for sure, they will take her away. Obviously, that’s family.
“Do I want to marry or be a part of a family where the parents don’t like me? But the respect is there, so at least we can have dinners together,” Paul said.
The actress also revealed that Paul never disrespected her parents despite their differences and disagreements.
“There was never a time when he disrespected mommy and daddy. Kahit hindi na niya gusto yung mga rules. That just shows his character and how he was raised,” Toni added.
