K Brosas made a bold statement regarding the issue involving Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant Mariane Osabel. K, who is one of the judges of the singing contest, explained via Twitter.
She wrote, "Sagutin ko pa to since wine galore pako SA room ko ditey Shangri-La.. hehe.. sumunod kami sa rule. walang “dayaan” ..FYI! Binaba namin score NG isa kc AGAIN, dapat mag matter scores namin since Hanas iba pag txt votes nanalo.. at dapat ipanalo namin ang deserving that day. Bow "
K admitted that they lowered Osabel's score because they wanted their judging to matter since there had been instances where a less deserving contestant won because of the text votes.
This tweet stirred mixed reactions from the netizens. There were those who were dismayed because they felt sorry for Mariane.
As earlier reported, Mariane aired her reasons for deciding not to compete in the Final Resbak of Tawag ng Tanghalan.
