Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo recently guested in ‘Tonight with Boy Abunda’ for the promotion of her upcoming movie with Alden Richards, ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye.’
KAMI learned that during the interview, Kathryn revealed that she was fuming with anger because of director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
According to Kathryn, “Kasi yung character po ni Joy, siya yung tao na di nag-sasalita masyado, lahat andiyan lang so kailangan lumabas siya sa mata. Gusto ni direk na, ‘hindi mo pwede i-arte yan so kailangan iparamdam sayo.’ So habang masaya lahat, ‘wag kang sasama diyan,’ kakain silang lahat, ‘bakit ka sasama sa kanila?’”
This prompted Boy to ask, “Nagalit ka kay Cathy?” to which Kathryn replied, “Opo. Galit.” Boy further questioned if director Cathy asked Kathryn if the actress was angry at her which Kathryn confirmed.
Kathryn revealed she even cried out of anger during the shoot, “Sabi ko po, ‘opo galit ako.’ As in, may isang scene po napanood nila yun sa trailer, yung first meeting namin ni Ethan, meron 'dun tumatakbo ako the whole day, pati yung pawis bawal dayain. So kailangan tumakbo-takbo ako diyan, lulundag ako para totoo yun pawis, so pawis na pawis ako. Yung basurahan na scene, nandun ako sa basurahan, totoong mga basura din.
“Tapos nung break, hiningi ko yung phone ko, kasi nag-aano na ako kay DJ, naglalabas ako ng sama ng loob. Tapos sabi niya, ‘sinong nagbigay cellphone?! Sino?! Bakit ka nag-cecellphone?!’ tapos binigay ko. Sabi niya, ‘pano nagagalit ka na?! nagagalit ka na?!’ tapos ‘o game! 5432 action!’ yung mata ko sa kanya naiiyak ako sa galit, na parang minumura mo na siya sa utak mo.
“Sabi niya, ‘yan! Yan yung gusto ko! Yan si Joy! Yan yung nararamdaman mo! Ganyan lang’ sabi ko ‘hanggang kailan po?’ ‘hanggang matapos yung movie.’ So sabi niya ‘pwede ka magalit sakin, pwede mo kong murahin, pero may isa akong rule.
“Bawal kang mag-walk out or di ako siputin sa set ko. Isipin mo na ginagawa ko ‘to to help you.’ Sabi niya ‘galit ka ba?!’ tas sabi ko ‘di ko na po maintindihan’ parang ako ‘bakit ganito? Parang puno na ako, diba sobra na?’ ganyan.”
