Senator Risa Hontiveros slammed the netizen who called her out over he outfit at the 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte.
KAMI learned that the netizen criticized Hontiveros for “dressing inappropriately.”
“Dear Risa Hontiveros, dress appropriately. There's a place and time to dress like a thirsty slut and a senator of the republic,” the netizen wrote.
However, the author of the “Bawal Bastos” law lectured the netizen.
“Unang araw pa lang ng 18th Congress may ganito na agad,” Hontiveros wrote.
“Stop telling women how to dress,” she added.

In a previous report by KAMI, President Rodrigo Duterte signed the “Bawal Bastos” law or the Safe Spaces and Public Spaces Act.
The main goal of the new law is to penalize any form of gender-based harassment in public spaces like cat-calling, wolf-whistling, and more.
