KAMI learned that Lilibeth was there right beside Eddie Garcia, moments before he passed away.

According to Rappler, Lilibeth shared what transpired during the 20 minutes prior to 4:55 pm that June 20.

Lilibeth went out that day to share a "first meal with family." However, around 4:35 pm, she received a call from their bodyguard, telling her that she had to return to the hospital.

When Lilibeth was with Eddie, she told him precious words.

"You’ve been lifeless, and I don’t think I want you to be looking this way. I want you to be pogi, wag mo na kami alalahanin.”

At 4:55 pm, Eddie was declared dead.

According to Lilibeth, she never said goodbye to him because she thought that he was immortal.

During her eulogy, she told everyone not to take their loved ones for granted.

Lilibeth Romero is the longtime partner of Eddie Garcia. They have been together for more than 30 years.
