Tommy Esguerra recently opened up about being in a relationship three months after his ex-girlfriend and fellow model Kelley Day announced their split.

KAMI learned that the former PBB housemate had many realizations after his breakup with his ex-girlfriend of two years.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH, Tommy said:

At heart, I love relationships. But I realized a lot of things. One of them is that I maybe don’t have time for a relationship. It’s just not for me right now, you know. I need to learn how to love myself before I can love others because if I don’t love myself but I love someone else, it’s going to fail. So that’s something I got to work on.

The model added that his breakup with Kelley was the hardest experience he has had but also the best because of the lessons he's learned. He added:

It was the hardest breakup of my life but it was also the best breakup because it made me see what I was looking for. I’m still working on it.
