- Her luck came and she won the 6/45 draw with a grand prize of P30M, but was able to spend P1.3M in betting for so many years
Normally, Lotto winners would shy away from an interview out of fear for their safety.
However, one Lotto winner of the 6/45 draw in 2015 bravely faced the camera and told her story.
KAMI learned that she is Chat, a vendor in Tondo who won P30M in the 6/45 draw back in 2015.
According to Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, she would make a bet daily, wherein she would spend around P110.
Chat also recounted that her father was also an avid bettor in the lottery.
There was one fateful day though that he wasn't able to make a bet, and it was on that day that his numbers came out.
It caused him a lot of heartbreak and lost strength, and he eventually died.
Chat promised that she would be the one to continue what he has been doing.
Her efforts paid off. After many years of continuously betting in the lottery, she finally won the 6/45 and became the sole winner of the P30M.
When asked how much of the P30M is left, Chat responded that there's still P1M. According to her, she invested most of the money and also gave financial help to her family.
Aside from that, when she won, she also gave "balato" to her fellow vendors. She also stated that she needed to transfer residence after learning that someone was out to get her because of her winnings.
As to why she came out in the open, she just wanted to prove that Lotto is real!
