Vico Sotto was interviewed on ANC by Karen Davila about different issues regarding Pasig City, where he won as the new city mayor.
KAMI learned that he was asked about the importance of his Christian faith in governance.
According to the mayor-elect, having fear and love of God can help politicians stay clean and do the right thing.
"I think it's really important for us to have leaders with the fear and love of God. It doesn't mean that policy-making will be based [on it].
"My grounding and the fact that I grew up in church with people who are watching me and making sure that I don't do anything [wrong], I think that's very important."
KAMI reported earlier that Vico addressed the news that Bobby Eusebio is claiming election fraud in the recent elections in Pasig.
Vico Sotto is the son of comedian Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes. He has four half-siblings – Oyo and Danica, whose mother is Dina Bonnevie; Paulina, whose mom is Angela Luz; and Talitha, whose mom is Pauleen Luna.
