- The National Board of Canvassers has finally tallied all 167 certificates of canvass

- Cynthia Villar made it in the 1st place with 25,283,727 votes

- Most of the winning candidates are from Hugpong ng Pagbabago

The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) has finally tallied all 167 certificates of canvass as of 12:09 a.m. on Wednesday.

KAMI learned that reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar remains at the top spot with a total of 25,283,727 votes.

Here is the final result according to the CNN Philippines:

  2. Grace Poe - 22,029,788
  3. Bong Go - 20,657,702
  4. Pia Cayetano - 19,789,019
  5. Bato dela Rosa - 19,004,225
  6. Sonny Angara - 18,161,862
  7. Lito Lapid - 16,965,464
  8. Imee Marcos - 15,882,628
  9. Francis Tolentino - 15,510,026
  10. Koko Pimentel - 14,668,665
  11. Bong Revilla - 14,624,445
  12. Nancy Binay - 14,504,936

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to proclaim the new senators today, Wednesday, at 10 in the morning at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City. The winners of the party-list race will be proclaimed at 7 in the evening.
