It can be recalled that Star Cinema opened its doors to the public last May 4 and 5, 2019, in search of the actress who is fit to play the role of local heroine Darna.
KAMI learned that actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga uploaded a video of her ‘audition’ for Darna on her social media account.
In her video, Alex jokingly expressed her desire to play the role of the local heroine, “Hi! I’m Alex Gonzaga mag-aaudition po ako for Darna. So marami po akong talent. Kaya ko pong kumanta, kaya ko pong sumayaw, tapos kaya ko rin pong magpuyat hanggang alas singko ng madaling araw.”

Alex also donned a Darna costume as she did a funny fight scene in the video. Her ‘audition’ elicited reactions from netizens on social media as well.
