A Filipino taxi driver went viral after he was exposed by two Austrian vloggers who said that the driver tried to scam them. They were from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City and rode the taxi to Legazpi Village in Makati City.
Michael Holaschke and Anela Hrnic were the Australian vloggers who handle the Making it happen Vlog. In their vlog they shared a video where the taxi driver asked them to pay extra for their luggage. The driver also asked them to pay a high flat rate instead of the metered rate according to them.
They opted to ride a taxi because they could not book a grab. While the taxi driver tried to make them pay extra, the couple explained that they know the law and they were not first timers.
Holaschke also revealed that the driver aggressively tried to seize his phone when he learned that they were filming him.

The driver even stopped the car because the couple did not give in to his demands. Using their own GPS navigation, they noticed that the driver tried to take detours.
Hrnic told him to stop making detours. They were able to reach their destination but they were obviously displeased with the driver.
“Filipinos are the kindest, friendliest people that we’ve ever met and this is the first time in two years traveling to the Philippines that we’ve had [a] bad experience,” said Holaschke.
The Pinoy netizens condemned the taxi driver's rudeness. Here are some of their comments on the video uploaded on their Youtube channel.
