Madam Kilay made headlines when she confirmed months ago that she and her American husband “Afam” have already separated.
KAMI had an exclusive interview with the internet sensation about their painful breakup.
The social media superstar revealed that she was shocked that their relationship ended since they did not fight frequently and they avoided going to sleep at night without resolving their conflicts with each other.
However, she explained that their real troubles started when her US soldier husband was deployed and they had to settle with a long-distance relationship.
Madam Kilay revealed that “Afam” started to cheat on her during that time. She also denied that she was the one who cheated on her partner.
“Kahit ako sa sarili ko, nagulat ako. Anong nangyare? Diba kasi na-deploy siya? Okay kami, nagvi-video-video pa nga kami noon eh. Iyak-iyak, crayo-crayola pa nga ako nun. Kasi siya pa nga nagsasabi ‘Think positive, think positive, stop thinking negative.’ Ganun pa nga siya. So ako naman, okay, kasi alam ko naman mahal niya ako.
“Hindi naman kami nag-aaway. Kasi pag nag-away kami nun, wala kaming bonggang pinagawayan. Sabi ko sa’yo, mag-away man kami hindi kami matutulog nang magkagalit. Kailangan matutulog kami okay na kami. Kaya nagulat din ako eh. Ba’t anong nangyare sa jowa ko? Ayoko man siya pag-usapan pero eto napagusapan na natin so wala na akong magagawa.
“Ayun nga, kasi napalayo siya. So LDR diba? Kasi nung nagsama kami nung nagpunta na kami ng America after Korea siyempre ang tagal namin hindi naghihiwalay, palagi kaming magkasama. So naghiwalay ulit kami, first time ulit kami maghiwalay, I mean second time ulit namin maghiwalay, siguro bugso ng ano niya, may nangyari doon kasi ang tagal na. Alam mo naman, lalake. Baka nag-init,” she explained to KAMI.
