A netizen shared photos on social media that an ambulance with text “LGU-Sablayan” was allegedly used for a vacation trip in Occidental Mindoro. KAMI learned that the driver of the ambulance will be facing disciplinary actions.
In a report by the GMA News (author Paul Jaysent Fos), the local government unit of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro said that they will look into the case of an ambulance parked under the Amnay Bridge.
“Akala ko may aksidente sa ilalim ng amnay bridge ayun pala ginawang service for family outing. Tama ba o mali ang kanilang ginawa??” it read in the caption.
Sablayan Mayor Eduardo Gadiano confirmed that the mentioned ambulance is under the Sablayan local government.
According to the mayor, he will be giving disciplinary actions to the driver. He said, “Tatlo lang pinagpipilian ko sa kanya: suspension, termination, o mag-resign siya, kasi mali ang ginawa niya.”
