Julia Barretto was asked recently if she would be willing to audition for the role of Darna since she is one of the top picks to give life to the famous Pinay superhero.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, the young actress revealed that she is very much willing to audition for the role.and would even show up wearing her underwear to dress the part of Darna.
“I’d do it. If there were auditions, I will go to that audition in pant-y and bra and just do the thing,” she said.
She also thanked her supporters for considering her as the actress for the Darna film. She said, “Thank you so much for even thinking about me. I mean that's a huge thing, that's huge. Thank you.”
Liza Soberano was originally the actress chosen to play the iconic heroine but had to withdraw from filming due to an injury on her finger.
