The name of the Kapamilya actress who will allegedly portray the iconic role “Darna” after Liza Soberano’s withdrawal was finally revealed.
KAMI learned that the former “Dolce Amore” star backed out from the role because of her finger injury that she got during the taping of “Bagani.”
Because of the much-talked-about withdrawal, a lot of netizens expressed their desires for several celebrities to audition for the superhero role.
Few of the most favorite ABS-CBN actresses to get the slot were Jessy Mendiola, Kathryn Bernardo, Pia Wurtzbach, and Nadine Lustre.
However, in a report made by a Youtube channel called “Celebrity Site Updates,” it confirmed that Julia Montes will be acting as the next “Darna.”
According to the said channel, the director and producers of the upcoming movie saw the actress’ suitability for the role.

As of the moment, no official confirmation is made and Julia has yet to issue a formal statement about the rumors.
