Former TV5 anchor found dead inside a luxurious hotel

A former broadcast journalist in TV5 was found breathless inside a room in Shangri-La Hotel in Bonifacio Global City on April 1.

KAMI learned that it was Joseph “Seph” Ubalde, a weather anchor and newspaper columnist, who died at the age of 34.

According to the police report, the TV5 anchor was lying inside the bathroom when the authorities found his dead body.

They got the information after a security personnel received a call from an unidentified person, saying that Joseph was not answering his phone anymore.

As of the time of writing, the cause of death is still not released.

Meanwhile, some netizens claimed that the latest Instagram post of the said news anchor was already a premonition.

Seph captioned his post with “Freedom” on the same day when his body was found lifeless.

Joseph Ubalde was a news and weather anchor in Aksyon TV and TV5. He started his television career as the Senior News Producer of GMA-7.

He was a graduate of Journalism at the University of the Philippines.
