Willie Revillame finally broke his silence on the speculations that his show “Wowowin” is used by many people to get cash assistance easily.
KAMI learned that the issue sparked after netizens noticed that a lot of individuals abuse the kindness of the said celebrity whenever the program is on air.
In fact, there are memes in the online world claiming that if a person is broke, he or she can try to shed tears in ”Wowowin” to receive money.
To address the issue, Willie expressed that it is not right to use people, especially the children and the elderly, to ask money from him.
He also pleaded the studio audience to not take the show for granted because it affects the aims of “Wowowin” which are to bring happiness and become a “game of chance.”
