Marian Rivera has the perfect response to bashers who criticize her 'English'

Marian Rivera is considered as a gem by GMA. After all, she enjoys the title of being the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
KAMI learned that Yan openly admitted to struggling in English. This admission was reported in Team Dantes.
Along with the actress' admission, she also candidly expressed her thoughts on the relation between English and intelligence.
According to Marian, who was a graduate of BS Psychology from De La Salle University Dasma, no "bobo" could graduate from her course.
“Para maka-graduate ka ng psych sa isang magandang eskwelahan, walang bobong tao na nakaka-graduate ng psych,” said Marian.
She then explained that she is not that fluent in English but it should not be the basis in gauging one's intellect.
“Alam kong mahirap dahil nami-misinterpret, but ako, aaminin ko hindi ako kagalingang mag-English."
For Marian, the true test of a person's intelligence is his or her ability to wade through the challenges of life.
"Kapag hindi ka magaling mag-Ingles pero maprinsipyo ka sa buhay mo, kapag mahal kang anak, mabait kang kaibigan, ibig sabihin pa nu’n bobo ka?”
Yan said that it's a bit painful to know about people who equate English skills with intelligence because for her the one who is "madiskarte" is the one who is intelligent.
Perhaps the most important thing that Marian said about English and intelligence is, "Aanhin ko ang kagalingan sa pag-i-Ingles kung hindi naman ako marunong dumeskarte at hindi ako mapagmahal sa mga magulang ko, o nakakalimutan ko ang mga kaibigan ko. Kung ang definition ng pagiging matalino ay mag-English lang, ‘wag na lang akong maging matalino."

Marian is already considered as a pillar in the showbiz industry. This was further exemplified when she married fellow Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes.
Now, the Kapuso Primetime Queen is very happy with her family. She has a lovely daughter, Zia, and she is now expecting her second child, a baby boy whom everybody is eagerly waiting for.
A recent KAMI report revealed that Marian and Dingdong had a fabulous Over-the-Moon themed baby shower for their second baby. It was styled and planned by known personas in the country.
