Veteran actress Armida Siguion-Reyna has died at the age of 88 on Monday. KAMI learned that her brother, former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, has paid a tribute to her sister.
Through a statement, Enrile has expressed his grief over his sister’s passing. However, he said that he is relieved that Armida can now peacefully rest after battling with an illness, as reported by ABS-CBN News.
The former senator also shared his memories of his sister Armida when they were still young. Enrile also lauded his sister’s legacy in Philippine show business.
Ipinagmamalaki ko na naging tanyag siya," he added according to a report by CNN Philippines.
