Whatever happened to G Tongi? She’s living an exciting life in the US with her family

G Tongi, who is half-Filipina and half-Swiss, became famous in the ‘90s with shows such as Gimik, Beh Bote Nga, Mulawin, Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw and movies like Enteng Kabisote and Langit sa Piling Mo.

However, she moved to the US in 2014. KAMI learned that she now has a fulfilling family life and an exciting career in America.

Despite living in the US these days, she is still in contact with some of her Pinoy celebrity friends.

As for her career, she earned a degree in communication studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She also continued her career as an actress – studying acting at the famous The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City and being a part of plays like The Producers, America Adjacent, and Supportive White Parents.

G is also involved in Pinay entrepreneurship projects in Los Angeles, programs for the Pinoy community in the US, and in women's reproductive health and rights advocacy.

The actress’ family life is the main focus of her attention. She married American Tim Walters in Boracay almost 15 years ago.

They have two beautiful kids – a daughter named Sakura Anne Marie and a son named Kenobi Benjamin.

G also loves to travel around the world and experience different cultures.

She also made the news in 2017 when she questioned Mocha Uson’s appointment in the MTRCB.

Mocha slammed G Tongi, saying that she is very much qualified for the position since she is a Filipino, is over 21 years of age, and has no criminal record.

Last year, G Tongi also made negative comments about Imelda Marcos and Senator Manny Pacquiao.
