Kapuso actress Sunshine Cruz unhesitatingly admitted through her social media account that she was supposed to join Binibining Pilipinas before.
KAMI learned that the revelation was made after a netizen commented on the newly-uploaded photo of the celebrity with her daughter Samantha.
The social media user noticed the height of Sunshine and claimed that she could have become a Miss Universe if she joined a national pageant.
Because of this, the actress replied that she once had the opportunity to join Binibining Pilipinas when a candidate was dethroned and she was chosen as the substitute.
However, she already started doing sexy films before that was why her participation in the prestigious beauty pageant did not push through.

Despite what happened, Sunshine is still positive that one of her daughters will be fortunate enough to set foot in the world of pageantry.
“I was supposed to represent when someone got dethroned pero I started doing sexy films kaya hindi na pwede,” she wrote.
“It’s not meant for me. Baka isa sa kids ko ang mas may karapatan to join,” she added.
