The netizens were astonished by the viral photos and videos of Catriona Gray and Sam Milby being together, aside from that, a lot of speculations were created.
That's why the chairman of Cornerstone, the talent management where Sam Milby belongs, has explained the real cause why they were together.
As reported by PEP.ph, Erickson Raymundo explained that what happened was purely unplanned.
"During a very brief break from her stay here in Manila I invited Ms. Catriona Gray and her family to visit our farm in Tanay as I have promised them even before the Miss Universe Pageant," he said.
"I also invited one of my talents, Sam Milby, on the same day since it happened to fall on his free day from shooting so he can see personally the gift I gave him from the farm early on as a Christmas gift. I also invited other friends," he added.
He also shared that the Kapamilya actor and the Miss Universe 2018 are already friends even before because they go to the same church and bible study group.
"It was a good coincidence since both personalities are good acquaintances and happened to go to the same church and belong in the same bible study group."
The talent manager also mentioned his important connection to Catriona as a singer.
"I would also like to note that Cornerstone Entertainment Inc is helping Catriona with her music. We officially released her single for Young Focus under our label before she left for Thailand to compete in the pageant," he stated.
"Her visit in the farm was my personal treat for her before she fulfills her upcoming duties in New York," he clarified.

Catriona’s father is Ian Gray, a Scottish-Australian. Her mother is Normita Magnayon, a Filipina from Albay.
She already joined and became a finalist in Miss World 2016 before winning Miss Universe this year.
