Last week, Robin Padilla met for the first time his wife Mariel Padilla’s father, Abelardo Termulo.
KAMI learned that new photos, videos, and details on the special encounter went viral on social media.
The action star also sent a heartfelt message for his father-in-law:
“In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful.. sa Nag iisang Panginoong Maylikha lamang ang pagpupuri ang Panginoon ng mga Daigdig..
“sir dad ginoong Abelardo Termulo your the coolest father in the whole wide world. Idol ko po kayo sir Ang pagmamahal mo sa pamilya mo ay kasingtamis ng iyong mga ngiti at tawa. Your jokes are the funniest but meaningful. Your words of wisdom is from your actual experiences filled with adventure, challenges and love.
“Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong pagdating at nagbunga ito ng pagsasama natin ngayong kapaskuhan at bagong taon tunay na ang mensahe ng mga holidays na ito ay pagkakaisa pagkakasundo at pagsasama sama ng pamilya. Ibang klaseng kasiyahan at kasayahan ang dinala mo po sa amin!
“God is great!! Hanggang sa muling pagkikita dad! We love you! Salmo at Dasal ko o aming nag iisang Panginoong Dios at Maylikha ang kaligayahan at kalayaan sa kahirapan para sa lahat ng mga Pilipino ngayong 2019 in shaa Allah,” Robin posted.
As for Mariel, she expressed her gratitude towards her father:
“I love the holidays!!! It really is the most wonderful time of the year because you get to spend a lot of precious time with the people you love most...family.”
“This year is extra special, my dad came ‘home’ and that completed my 2018 because he finally met Robin. The best part is that they instantly got along.”
“And i want to thank everyone who took time to come to send my dad off i really appreciate it. I won’t forget though Isabella and I are we enjoyed our 1st day of 2019," Mariel posted.

Robin Padilla and Mariel tied the knot on August 19, 2010.
The actress-host gave birth to Isabella on November 14, 2016. She delivered the baby in Delaware, USA.
