Robin Padilla answers Muslims who bashed him for celebrating Christmas

Robin Padilla, who converted to Islam in the ‘90s, received criticisms from some Muslim netizens when they saw him on social media celebrating Christmas.
KAMI learned that the actor was seen in photos taking part in Christmas activities with his Christian wife, Mariel Padilla.
“Our first christmas together. we were in Delaware for @mariaisabelladepadilla ‘s 1st christmas then last year @robinhoodpadilla spent it in Marawi so this is the first time we are together as a family and this is the best family photo we have,” Mariel wrote.
Some Muslim netizens accused Robin of not respecting Islam’s teachings.
The action star responded that he celebrates Christmas because the Holiday represents loving and respecting all humans.
“Islam is peace, love and respect to all mankind. Christmas is love and sharing.
“Christmas in the Philippines is more of culture and traditions not of religious extremism.
“We all believe in the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH) let us focus our energy and conversation on things that we are the same, God willing,” Robin replied.

In a previous report by KAMI, Robin finally met the father of Mariel for the first time during a family reunion.
Robin Padilla and Mariel tied the knot on August 19, 2010.
The actress-host gave birth to Isabella on November 14, 2016. She delivered the baby in Delaware, USA.
