Toni Gonzaga openly shared in Gandang Gabi Vice that she and Sam Milby really had an unofficial relationship.
According to her, they were M.U. or also known as 'mutual understanding' which is a label when you don't have an official relationship but you treat one another extra special.
Talking about their new movie, 'Mary, Marry me' she also disclosed that her husband, Paul was the one who chose Sam to be his leading man in their upcoming movie with Alex Gonzaga.
"Kung ano yung naexperienced ko nung nag M.U. M.U kami."
"Oo, alam naman ni Paul yun, mutual understanding talaga," Toni said.
However, she honestly explained that everything was just because of work. She had some realizations that it didn't really happen in their personal lives, especially Sam had his girlfriend during that time.
"Wala na pala, isang malaking palabas," she joked.
She also defended Sam and clarified that he said sorry to her.
"Pero alam mo bata pa kasi sya nun."
"Nag sorry siya naman," she responded to Vice Ganda's question.
Toni also shared what she learned from that experienced. Especially about making sure that you put a label in your relationship.
"Parang feeling nyo kayo, pero hindi naman kayo."
"Kaya talagang hindi totoo yung walang label."
"Wag kayong papayag na wala kayong label."
"Ang dami kong natutunan doon. Natutunan ko na hindi mo masusukat ang pagmamahal mo base sa simpleng pinag daanan nyo."
"Nasusukat yun kung paano mo dadalhin ang sarili mo. Kung paano mo bibitawan yung mga hindi para sayo. Kasi the moment na binitawan mo yon, doon mo marerealize na ang ganda pala ng nakalaa para sayo," Toni confessed.
