Regine Velasquez bravely talks about Gelli de Belen 15 years after their live TV confrontation

Now-Kapamilya artist Regine Velasquez promptly aired some statements regarding her current status with Gelli De Belen whom she had an issue with almost two decades ago.
KAMI learned that the Asia’s Songbird was reportedly the reason why Gelli ended her relationship with actor Ariel Rivera few years back.
It can also be remembered that in 2003, Regine and the veteran actress had a live TV confrontation during the talk show entitled “SiS” where the singer served as the guest and Gelli was the host.
Here, the Ika-5 Utos star admitted that she got mad at the singer because of being the third party in her love affair with Ariel.
“Oo naman! Alangan namang matuwa ako, ‘di ba? Nagulat ka ba na nagalit ako sayo?” Gelli stated before.
In the recent “Tonight With Boy Abunda” episode, the veteran musician expressed that she sees the actress as a good friend now.
She even emphasized that despite their past issue, she manages to appreciate how wonderful Gelli is as a wife and as a mother.
Regine also addressed the issue and explained that they were both young at that time and nobody wanted the rift to happen.
“You know, we were all very young and it wasn’t supposed to happen. Hindi siya talaga nakatakda,” the Asia’s Songbird quipped.
“And you know I have to tell you, Gelli is a good friend now. And she is a wonderful wife, a fantastic mother and I am so happy that I was given a chance to actually know her,” she added.
