Resigned 'Ang Probinsyano' director breaks silence on rumored rift with Coco Martin

Veteran action-drama director Toto Natividad finally opened up about the allegations that he and Coco Martin are not in good terms that is why he resigned from “Ang Probinsyano.”
KAMI learned that the aforementioned filmmaker ended his contract with the top-rating teleserye and is set to help its rival “Cain at Abel” in GMA-7.
Because of Toto’s sudden move, a lot of netizens speculated that he is currently in a rift with the “Ang Probinsyano” lead actor.
However, the multi-awarded director falsified the rumors and expressed that he and Coco are good friends.
He also emphasized that the former Juan Dela Cruz star is a kind and gentle man and he has no issue with him.
“Mabait si Coco. Walang issues sa aming dalawa ni Direk Coco Martin,” the director quipped.
“Career move lang po ang paglipat ko. Nagpaalam po ako sa ABS-CBN at pinayagan po ako,” he added.

To prove that the rumored rift between him and Coco are not true, Toto posted a message on his social media account that sais directly addressed to the Kapamilya heartthrob.
He wrote, “Mabuting tao si Coco Martin.”
When asked about the current issue that “Ang Probinsyano” is facing against PNP, Toto admitted that he is not aware of the current story of the show.
“Sorry po, hindi ko na po kasi alam ang story ngayon ng Ang Probinsyano,” he said.

Ang Probinsyano is a primetime drama series that has been airing in the Kapamilya network for more than three years already. It remains as the number one show in Philippine television as of today.
