Veteran actress Coney Reyes let the online world know how proud she becomes after her son Vico Sotto finished his Master’s degree with flying colors.
KAMI learned that the prominent politician took a degree in public administration at the Ateneo School of Government.
In Coney’s Instagram post, she uploaded some photos of her while putting the hard-earned medal to her son with Kapuso actor Vic Sotto.
The actress could not refrain thanking the Lord as she revealed that Vico became a silver medalist in his Master’s degree.
“#ThankYouLord! I’m a #proudMama! Congratulations, son! @vicosotto Silver Medalist Master in Public Management #ateneoschoolofgovernment #ASoG #MPM #GlorytoGod #Godisgood,” the veteran celebrity wrote.

In a separate post, the Pasig City Councilor expressed that he did not expect that he will receive a medal.
Vico shared that he would just poke fun if someone told him before that he will finish his Master’s degree with flying colors.
“If you told me when i was in hs/college that in the future i would finish a master's degree with honors, i probably would have laughed!” he quipped.
“I never did great in school and would just study the topics i liked. But i guess it's different when there's a sense of purpose!!” he added.
