A video of a 2-month-old baby circulated on social media after it was shared countless times by netizens who expressed indignation at what the parents were doing to their baby.

KAMI learned that the said video showed a mom feeding her little baby with porridge.

While this is enough to elicit outrage from some parents who believe solid foods must be introduced after 6 months, what made the whole thing worse was that they tied the hands of their baby.

It was a video tutorial

From the video shared by Erlina L, it can be gleaned that the new mom and dad were making a video tutorial out of their "feeding time."

The Asian Parent has provided a translation to what the father was saying with, "This is how a two-month-old baby reacts. We’ve fed him. He’s very hungry, and just eat everything up. Are you hungry, little one?"

The right method?

According to the father, what they're doing is the right method on how to feed a 2-month old.

He encapsulated his thoughts by saying, "For new moms who have children out there, this is the right method to feed a 2-month-old baby. Tie his hands up using this. Then, don’t forget to dilute the food with some water. Otherwise, without any water, we risk choking the child with food. Do try your best to feed the child first before bathing him."

Here's the video of the whole "feeding time."
