Romnick Sarmenta’s interview on the Kapamilya talk show “Magandang Buhay” was an emotional one.
KAMI learned that Romnick got teary-eyed during his interview about his family.
The actor expressed his desire to do his best for his kids despite knowing that he will fall short sometimes.
He also talked about his 5-year-old daughter and how much more he could give her at the age of 45.
"Siyempre gusto mong maramdaman nila na nandiyan ka, na mahal mo sila. Na kahit anong pagdaanan nila, you are going to be part of their lives, you are going to be there. Kung hindi mo man sabihin kung ano ang maganda para sa pinagdadaanan nila, at least you are there para making…
"Pero hindi ba, you want to be there for all your kids. I have a 5-year-old and I'm 46, soon I will be 50. Iniisip ko lang pagdating niya ng 25, ilang taon ako and how much more I can do for her? Palagi kong sinasabi na walang magaling na tatay, 'yung nasa itaas lang 'yon, siya lang 'yon. Pero hindi mo maalis na gustuhin mong magawa 'yung the best para sa mga anak mo.
"Para sa akin it's such a gift to be given this many children and to be entrusted this much by being able to just be in their lives," he said, as quoted by ABS-CBN News.

Romnick and Harlene Bautista announced their separation last month without giving specific reasons behind it.
The two got married in a civil wedding back in 1999. They have five children.
