Janelle Manahan recalls how she was blacklisted by Star Magic because of Ram Revilla

Janelle Manahan recently recalled how she managed to survive the dreadful night when her boyfriend Ram Revilla was murdered. She also looked back at their love story.
According to her, she prioritized her relationship with Ram more than anything else. When Ram died, she had to be strong.
In an interview with Pep.ph, she also revealed how she was forced to quit showbiz in 2008 although she loved being in the showbiz.
“Gusto ko siya [showbiz career] bago ako tumigil. Na-force lang ako tumigil because of Ramgen," bungad ng dalaga.
"Meron akong launching soap, The Wedding, na ang bida ay sina Zanjoe Marudo at Anne Curtis.
“Part talaga ako ng cast nun. Parang kapatid ko 'ata dun si Zanjoe.
“OK na siya, naka-set na lahat, ready to go.
It was her 1st day of shooting when Ram took her phone and turned it off.
“Tapos yung day one ng shoot, kinuha ni Ramgen yung phone ko. Pinatay niya.”
Ram was a jealous boyfriend and stopped Janelle from attending her first taping day.
Sobrang selosong boyfriend daw kasi si Ramgen, at ura-uradang hindi siya pinasipot sa taping ng The Wedding.
“Ayaw niya kasi yung role ko dun, meron akong tatlong love team.
“Umiiyak ako, kasi sabi ko, ‘At least allow me to tell them na hindi na ako pupunta.’
“Wala. Pinatay niya. Itinago niya yung phone.”
They lived together back then and she had to cease talking to anyone because Ram prohibited her to do so.

“Wala. Nasa kuwarto ako. Kulong ako. Kulong mode ako for one week.
“Wala akong phone for one week.
“Dun nagalit sa akin ang Star Magic.”
Janelle was not able to say the reason for her absence during the first taping day which resulted to her being blacklisted by Star Magic.
“Trinay ko naman after... Minessage ko yung manager ko nun. Pero too late, di ba?”
She was not able to apologize to Star Magic Head Johnny Manahan also known as Mr. M/
Hindi na rin daw siya nakahingi ng dispensa sa noo’y Star Magic Head na si Johnny Manahan o mas kilala sa showbiz circles bilang Mr. M.
“Walang chance. Sorry Mr. M! Sorry sa buong production talaga na yun. Sobrang nakakahiya talaga.”
Janelle started her showbiz career when she joined ABS-CBN's talent search Star Circle Quest Season 2 where Erich Gonzales was hailed the Grand Teen Questor in 2004.
