When campaign period starts, it is the perfect time to create catchy jingles that the Filipinos will surely not forget. Filipinos are so creative when it comes to their political ads. Even after many years, people can still sing along with some of the unforgettable jingles ever made.

KAMI learned from Spot.ph that there are campaign jingles that will forever be in the hearts and minds of the Filipinos. Here are the Top 8 memorable jingles as listed by KAMI:

Juan Miguel Zubiri (2007)

Boom-tarat-tarat, boom tarat-tarat, Zubiri, Zubiri, boom boom boom! When he was running as a senator in 2007, Juan Miguel Zubiri had a campaign jingle to the tune of Willie Revillame’s novelty song, Boom Tarat-Tarat.

Loren Legarda (2010)

Loren ikaw lamang ang hindi lumisan. Tunay na kaibigan, lagi kang nandiyan. In 2010, Loren Legarda ran for vice presidency. Her campaign jingle was sung by popstar Sarah Geronimo. Unfortunately, she lost to Jejomar Binay.

Pia Cayetano (2010)

Pia, Pia, Pia Cayetano! Pia Cayetano also had a catchy jingle in 2010 when she ran as a senator. Her campaign jingle is titled “Pasado”.

Manny Villar (2010)

Manny Villar really captured the attention of the people when he released his jingle when he ran as a President in 2010. Unfortunately, even though he had the Filipinos in LSS-mode, he lost to Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
