Veteran actress Eula Valdes has recently appeared as a guest on late night talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda.
On the show, Eula was asked about her son Miguel Valdes, who is also an actor and model.
Miguel is Eula's eldest child with former husband, Ronnie Quizon.
He debuted as an actor in the indie movie Paki (Please Care) in 2017. Eula also starred in the movie.
"Nung unang eksena namin together, that was the first time na makikita ko siyang umarte talaga. Siyempre, satisfied ako. Kasi baguhan siya e, and yet ang mga kaeksena niya Shamaine Buencamino, Dexter Doria, Noel Trinidad, Ricky Davao. Proud mother ako," said Eula.
Host Boy Abunda also asked Eula about an anecdote she shared in 2013 about how Miguel is sometimes mistaken for her "young boyfriend".
Eula tells Boy Abunda that it really happened because Miguel is a sweet son.
"Kasi si Miguel ay malambing na anak. Kapag nasa mall kami, he would hold my hand and mahilig siyang humalik. Minsan humahalik yan sa lips," shared Eula.
To prevent the same incident from happening again, Eula said she had shirts custom-made for them that clearly states their mother-son relationship.
"Tig-isa kami. Meron sa akin na 'He's my son' na may arrow. Tapos sa kanya naman, 'She's my mom'. Para wala naman magsasabi, 'Oy si Eula Valdes pabata naman nang pabata ang kasama nito!'" shared Eula in between laughs.
Aside from Miguel, Eula also has a daughter with Ronnie Quizon. Her daughter's name is Juliana.
Ronnie took up film in college. He had previously said he wanted to be like his grandfather, the late comedy king Dolphy.
Ronnie said, like Dolphy, he wanted to package himself as an all-around entertainer.
Juliana, meanwhile, had said she wanted to be like her mom, a versatile actress.
