Two foreigners were apprehended by police officers in Bohol province after they were seen riding a motorcycle without the proper attire.

The Caucasians were wearing swimsuits as they rode the motorcycle in the streets of Baclayon town.

The man, who was driving the motorcyle, was shirtless, while the woman was wearing a thong. Both were not wearing helmets.

According to ABS-CBN News, the tourists were just warned to observe proper decorum in the streets. The authorities did not file any charges against them.

The incident happened on March 26.

The Bohol police issued a warning to all tourists to "respect" the town.

"We are reminding them to please observe proper decorum even if they are guests in this place. They are welcome but we hope they will also respect our place," said Sr. Insp. Romar Labasbas of Panglao Island.

Photos of the two tourists were also posted on Facebook page OFW JOIN FORCE - Philippine Chapter.

Netizens reacted saying the tourists should know the laws of the country they visit.

Others approved of the police's response, saying that a warning is enough since the foreigners might not know the rules.
