Some actresses seem to defy age. One of them is Ana Roces, who at 42 years old, still looks as youthful as she was in her twenties.
The mestiza actress shared with PEP her secrets for her ageless beauty.
According to Ana, it all starts with a healthy lifestyle.
"I wake up early every day, so I sleep early. I sleep at least eight to nine hours a day, except pag may taping ako. But when I'm taping, it's long hours, I make sure pag di ko eksena, I sleep," said Ana.
She also says no to alcohol or smoking.
"I don't drink. Zero alcohol. No smoking. Never. It's really healthy lifestyle," stressed Ana.
The That's Entertainment alumna said she doesn't have a special diet, but she does choose what she eats.
"I also shifted to brown rice, wheat bread, less fatty meats, more on tuna, chicken. I also eat beef, pero lean. I try to eat healthy," said Ana.
Aside from eating in moderation, Ana is also physically active.
"I exercise. I do Zumba. I dance two to three times a week. I also work out with light weights. Kasi nga when you age, we lose our muscles," said Ana.
The actress also shared that she makes time to treat herself to facial treatments and firming treatments.

Ana is also a hands-on mom to her two children.
She starred in the 1992 comedy film Alabang Girls with leading man Andrew E.
She also starred opposite Robin Padilla in the 1994 movie Oo Na, Sige Na.
Ana has been in the industry for three decades.
She last appeared in the ABS-CBN daytime drama Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin, which starred Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
