Ninerbyos sa tanong! Gerald Anderson gets caught in a lie when asked to pick between Maja Salvador and Sarah Geronimo

Gerald Anderson is in the center of controversy after his girlfriend Bea Alonzo unfollowed him on Instagram.
Rumors are that the couple had broken up, allegedly because of Pia Wurtzbach.
Pia and Gerald star in the movie My Perfect You. Bea had also unfollowed Pia on Instagram.
On a recent interview with DZMM's Global Pinoy Singing Idol, Gerald denied rumors and said his love life is "ayos naman, steady naman."

Gerald may have been able to answer that easily. However, it's a different story when he took on a lie detector challenge for a YouTube series by music channel MYX.
The My Perfect You leading man had to choose between two things in a series of questions and then explain his answer.
Throughout the challenge, Gerald's hand was on a portable polygraph device, which supposedly senses whether the answer is a lie through the person's pulse.
If the device assesses Gerald's answer as a lie, he will get a light electric shock.
Gerald was able to pass the first six questions without getting electric shocks.
But when he was asked to choose between Dahan-Dahan by Maja Salvador or Ikot-Ikot by Sarah Geronimo, the actor got the shock of his life.
Both performers were romantically linked with Gerald in the past. He courted Sarah before. Maja, meanwhile, was his girlfriend until 2015.
Gerald chose Maja's Dahan-Dahan saying the song had a good message. The song is about taking it slow when it comes to a serious relationship.
"Mas maganda 'yung ibig sabihin ng Dahan-Dahan. Maganda 'yung music video rin," said Gerald.
However, Gerald's answer was determined as a lie by the polygraph device and the actor was sent an electric shock to his hand.
"Grabe naman 'yun! Totoo naman 'yun. Honest ako doon, ah!" protested Gerald while smiling.

Gerald first dated Bea in 2010, however, they broke up because according to Gerald, he's still immature that time.
