It was supposed to be a night to remember for all Eraserheads fan who came to the show just to hear their favorite eheads' songs live.

Unfortunately, due to stress the night before, Ely Buendia almost cannot sing.

The former Eheads' lead vocals came up the stage to sing their iconic songs, with a hoarse voice.

Even Davao City Councilor Al-Ryan Alejandre, who is also a fan of the band was so dissapointed with the turnout of the show.

“I already had my tickets, VIP to say the least, in December last year. That’s how eager I was to secure a seat and him (Ely Buendia) just telling that he lost his voice because he had a gig the other night is unfair sa mga nagbayad,” he said on a phone interview.

As early as November 20, 2017, Bace Production, the concert organizer posted a video teaser on the March 10, 2018 concert in its Facebook page.

“His manager or himself should have at least organized his projects, he had a long time to prepare for the Davao concert and providing an alibi that he had previous engagements is not acceptable. He should have prepared for this event knowing that a lot of people paid to watch him perform,” the City councilor added.

Other partygoers were really frustrated and disappointed that they even took their rant to their social media.

Here's a video compilation of the eheads' fans sentiments which KAMI obtained from Youtube.

In an interview with the concert organizer Angel Selorio-Luy, of Bace Productions, said they were only informed that Buendia was not feeling well on the day of the event.

“We never talked to Ely when he arrived as his manager told us he needs to rest to prepare for the event (the concert),” she said through Facebook Messenger on Monday. “Whatever happened to Ely's performance is out of our control. We delivered what we have promised, to bring in the artists and let them perform,” the organizer said.

Meanwhile, a netizen also thanked Chito Miranda, Parokya ni Edgar's lead vocals for saving the night.

Acoording to her, Chito woke up the upset audience with his very natural antics.

She also added that Chito at least gave them something that they have paid for.

Before Ely started to sing he already warned the fans, “Before we begin, I just want to explain to you, I lost my voice this morning.”

This was actually his same excuse from the previous concerts he had.

Twitter user Rowel Riñon even used the statement, “Paos na si Ely Buendia, nagsusulat pa rin ako." He tweeted this on November 9, 2016.
