Billy Crawford couldn't catch a break.
After netizens slammed him and fiancé Coleen Garcia for their "disrespectful" and racially insensitive prenup photos in Ethiopia, Billy is now being ridiculed for his outfit.
Apparently, the cloth used for Billy's coat is very popular for everyday items.
Like a bag and a sala set, for example.
It's so popular, even Asia's songbird Regine Velasquez has the same pattern!
On March 12, Regine posted a photo of herself hugging a pillow on Instagram.
The pillow looks hilariously familiar because it has the same prints as Billy's infamous suit!
Regine wrote on her caption: "Parang namiss ko si @billycrawford miss you friend" and appended three laughing emojis.
Luckily, Billy is a good sport in all this. He even reposted Regine's photo on his own Instagram account!
On his own repost, Billy wrote: "@reginevalcasid di kami nagkamali ng tela. Official #songbird unan! #DeadAko"
Billy also reposted the first photo that started it all.
Even Coleen didn't escape the fashion scrutiny. One of her tops with a flowing tail is apparently also used the same cloth as a bedsheet.
Billy wrote: "Billy and @coleen out! #MicDrop seriously sa lahat ng gumawa nito salamat binuhay n'yo katawang lupa namin pero pinatay n'yo stylist namin! Bwahahahahaha"
Billy and Coleen went under fire last week because of their prenup photos in Ethiopia where local women and kids were used in the background.
The couple has issued a statement last night apologizing for their failure to see how it would come across. They clarified that they did not intend to hurt or offend.
The controversial photoshoot was done around September in 2017. Some of the photos were shared on social media as early as last year.
However, the offending photos only surfaced this week.
Billy and Coleen are set to tie the knot this coming April.
They got engaged in December 2016.
They fell in love while working with each other on ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime. They made their relationship public in 2014.
