The family of former actor Rolly Quizon is seeking prayers after he suffered a stroke recently.

Rolly is currently in a comatose state and is confined in a hospital in Quezon City.

According to PEP, he had a stroke while he was in a supermarket on March 9, Friday.

The report said he felt dizzy and then suddenly collapsed to the floor. Luckily, his girlfriend arrived at the supermarket, where they were scheduled to meet.

PEP further reported that Rolly underwent surgery on the morning of March 10, Saturday, to drain the blood clot in his brain.

Rolly is the youngest son of Comedy King Dolphy with his first live in partner, former actress Gracita Dominguez.

He entered showbiz in 1973 when he was 14 years old. He joined his father's popular sitcom John En Marsha.

He won best actor for his performance in the movie Burlesk Queen, which starred Vilma Santos and was the official entry in the 1977 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Last week, Rolly's half-brother Dino Quizon passed away in the United States. He was 45 years old.
