Lovi Poe has opened up about what happened next after the filming of her slapping scene with Erich Gonzales got both of them injured.

KAMI learned from PUSH that no awkwardness arose between the two actresses even if their slapping scene got too real.

However, the two stars needed some time on their own after shooting such an intense scene.

“No it wasn’t awkward.

“It’s more of like we needed our own time and our own space of course.

“After every scene naman na ganito it’s normal eh na we have this certain intensity of emotions na nagfi-fill up sa aming dalawa but it’s not just me and her.

“It happens to a lot of actress so what’s important is that we believe that direk Joel was happy with the scene,” Lovi explained.

She added that she is still good friends with Erich despite the controversial scene:

“We’re good friends, Erich and I.

“No [bad blood], none at all, because we know it’s part of the job,’ she said.

Erich and Lovi’s new movie will open nationwide on February 21, 2018.

It was directed by director Joel Lamangan.

The film also stars Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez.
