Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona's movie My Fairy Tail Love Story had its premiere night at SM Megamall on February 12.

While the two young actor and actress were kind of happy, thanks to the heavy guarding that Janella's handler and other staff were doing, so as to avoid questions about Jenine to be hurled at Janella, there was still one who got to ask the dreaded question.

She was asked whether she wishes her mom to watch the movie, and the 19-year-old Janella said, "Hopefully. Sana mapanood niya."

After she was done answering, someone immediately intervened and implored reporters not to ask Janella about it anymore.

The rift between Janella and Jenine did not remain hidden, considering that Jenine normally took their woes to social media.

Although not confirmed, it would seem that mommy Jenine doesn't like Elmo for Janella. As for what reason, it was not made known.

All the people know was that, Jenine would constantly make "pasaring" on social media.

According to PEP, Jenine informed them that she was at another show, which was why she wasn't able to attend the premiere.

Janella Salvador is the daughter of Jenine Desiderio and Jan Miguel Salvador.

Elmo Magalona is the son of Pia and Francis M.
