Mga bisaya sila! 7 Kapamilya stars who are proud Cebuanos & Cebuanas

Many Filipino showbiz personalities are from the province. Several of them came from Cebu.

KAMI learned from ABS-CBN Entertainment about these seven Kapamilya stars who are Cebuanas or Cebuanos.

1. Kim Chiu

The “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” star grew up in Cebu City. She moved to Manila in 2006 when she joined Pinoy Big Brother.

2. Matteo Guidicelli

The “Bagani” star was born in Cebu on March 26, 1990. His parents are Gianluca Guidicelli, an Italian, and Glenna Fernan, a Filipino.

3. Ellen Adarna

The controversial actress-model was raised in Cebu. She recently took her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz to meet her family in Cebu.

4. Shaina Magdayao

The “Asintado” star’s family hails from Cebu. However, the actress cannot speak in Bisaya although she can understand it.

5. Enrique Gil

Although he was born in Cebu City in 1992, the “Bagani” star grew up in Metro Manila. He finished primary school at the Montessori De Manila in Las Piñas City.

6. Juan Karlos Labajo

The actor-singer was born in Consolacion, Cebu on February 5, 2001. His dad left him and his mom when he was still a baby.

7. Morissette Amon

The acclaimed singer was born in Minglanilla, Cebu. Her parents are Analie Daug and Amay Amon.
