Vhong Navarro shared his honest thoughts and feelings about his experience of losing his beloved father, Danilo Navarro.
KAMI learned from PUSH that Vhong was able to cope with his grief through his faith in God.

“Kasi wala eh, sa panahon na ‘to kahit sinong tawagin mo, kahit sinong napakalaking tao, o mga kaibigan mong malalapit e wala…
"Kaya kung wala kang pananampalataya sa panginoon, Hindi mo malalagpasan ang lahat ng pagsubok na dumaan sa buhay mo…
"Ako 2017 hanggang pagpasok ng 2018 ang bigat, masyadong maraming pinagdaanan. Pero tulad nga nun na ano lang ako, especially yung pagkamatay nga ng tatay ko.
“Yun ang isa sa pinaka-ayaw kong mangyari at ayaw kong pagdaanan dahil feeling ko hindi ko kaya malagpasan pero nangyari e...
"Nagulat ako sa sarili ko 'uy! Kaya eh!' Kaya pala basta mayroon kang pananampalataya kasi kung wala kang pananampalataya maliligaw ka," the comedian-host revealed.
Vhong has finally returned to “It’s Showtime” after a two-week temporary leave.
He has two sons – Frederick Bruno and Isaiah.
The comedian used to be in a relationship with former actress Bianca Lapus but is now in a relationship with Tanya Winona Bautista, a writer for ABS-CBN.
