KAMI learned from GMA about these celebrities who survived cancer:
1. Wil Dasovich
Wil documented his battle against colon cancer for 6 months on his YouTube channel.
The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in August 2017.
The Fil-Am YouTuber recently announced that he is now cancer-free.
2. Tetay
Tetay is a comedian star on GMA who shared his battle with cancer of the pancreas with Rhea Santos for an episode of 'Tunay na Buhay.'
The comedian fought the Big C for only three months and now his cancer was cured.
3. Maritoni Fernandez
Maritoni was diagnosed with stage 2 br3ast cancer when she was 31 years old.
This cancer survivor is definitely a fitspiration and a fighter.
4. Glenda Garcia
Actress Glenda Garcia was diagnosed with br3ast cancer in 2013.
Last 2016, she announced that she has finally survived cancer.
5. Caleigh Simone
In 2014, at a young age of three years old, Jacki Forster's daughter Caleigh Simone was diagnosed with leukemia.
According to her mom, Caleigh is such a fighter.
6. Bibeth Orteza
Last year, Rafa Siguion-Reyna announced that his mom actress and writer Bibeth Orteza is now cancer-free.
She was diagnosed with stage 3 br3ast cancer in November 2004.
7. Melissa de Leon
Through the support of friends and family, actress Melissa de Leon was able to survive her stage 2b br3ast cancer.
8. Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala
Broadcast journalist Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala started the ICANSERVE Foundation to give hope and help with her fellow br3ast cancer survivors.
Alvin Costillas is a dog trainer who is committed to teach and normalize the behavior of dogs that have gone violent even if it means risking his own life.
