Not all pregnancies go smoothly, some pregnancies are considered high-risk just like with Pokwang's case.
Her pregnancy with baby Malia Francine was not an easy one and the comedienne recalls her struggles and experience during her delicate pregnancy.
Pokwang gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Malia Francine, on January 18, Thursday, via C-section.
This is her first child with partner American actor Lee O'Brian.
During an interview with Jeff Fernando for Umagang Kay Ganda, which KAMI learned from TNP, Pokwang shared the reaction of their families on both sides.
According to her, Malia is the first grandchild on Lee O'Brian's side and 32nd on her side.
"Unang apo kasi sa kanila. Habang sa amin naman, pang 32 siya."
Pregnancy is not the same for everyone, as with Pokwang's case, she experienced difficulties while carrying Malia.
She recounts her experience and shared that once she saw her baby, everything was worth it.
"Sa lahat ng mga nanay, yun yan.
"Lahat ng mga pains, yung mga struggle bilang buntis, yung paglilihi, yung nahihirapan ka, pero once na makita mo na yung baby mo, sarap sarap sarap sarap diba!"
She also shared that her siblings are very much excited to see baby Malia and jokes that her baby's schedule is already fully booked.
"Naku! Lahat ng mga kapatid ko excited mag-alaga! Ano, wala na akong anak, paano? May mga schedule na sila! Oh, MWF sa amin. Oh, TTHS. Oh eh pano kaming mga magulang?! Paano?"
Pokwang confirmed her pregnancy last June 2017.
The comedienne-actress and Lee O'Brian first met while working on the TFC movie "Edsa Woolworth."
On January 2015, Pokwang confirmed their relationship.
