Joyce Pring still cries over Sam YG, gives advice about moving on

Moving on can be extremely hard especially if you have no choice but to work with your ex-boyfriend.
Unfortunately for multimedia personality Joyce Pring, that's exactly what she is going through.
Joyce shared her life story on the show "Tunay na Buhay" and she revealed that she still hasn't completely gotten over Sam.
When asked about the status of her heart, she simply said, "Nandun pa rin po sa kanya."
Although she laughed it off, Joyce admitted that she still sheds tears whenever she has to work with Sam.
"Iniiyak ko na lang siya, iniiyak ko po siya usually the night before or after the hosting. Yung hindi na kami pero magtatrabaho pa rin kami together. Iniiyak ko siya," said Joyce.
So how does she cope with working with her ex?
"Kailangan ko lang pong tandaan palagi na mahalaga 'yung work ko and mahal ko siya as a friend," added Joyce.
The radio host said she and Sam used to be best of friends, but are now just "good friends" after the break up.
Joyce dated Sam for four years. He was her first boyfriend.
Despite struggling with moving on, Joyce said she learned a lot in their relationship.
"It was really more of like a metamorphosis for me as a person also, na parang 'Okay kaya ko pala 'yung magmahal din ng ibang tao," said Joyce.
The host said she tries to focus on herself while she moves on. She's learning new skills, traveling on her own, and exploring new things.
"Lagi mong tatandaan na kaya mong magmahal ng ibang tao pero hindi mo kayang ipilit 'yung sarili mo sa ibang tao. So before you can love anyone, kailangan mo muna siyempre matutunan na mahalin 'yung sarili mo," advises Joyce.
Joyce and Sam kept their relationship private for the most part.
They let the public know about their romance only in May 2016.
They broke up around October 2017.
Joyce Pring is a TV and radio host. She started her career as a finalist for MYX's VJ Search in 2011.
