On 2011, they became open about their breakup. They have been together for 1 year. Jennylyn shared the reason behind their breakup which was because of Dennis' abusive traits.

On May 2011, she demonstrate how Dennis allegedly kept her on a headlock while dragging her across his living room. She also shared that Dennis also said hurtful words to her which was more painful.

But after 4 years of having different lives away from each other, the couple have decided to give their failed romance a second chance.

On early 2015, they officially got back together. This time, it seems like Dennis is making it up to Jennylyn and giving her all the love that she deserve.

The past year has been filled with love for Jennylyn Mercado, 30, and boyfriend Dennis Trillo, 36. They traveled in different places and countries.

The couple seldom talk about their romantic relationship but the Kapuso actress has taken to Instagram to show that she and Dennis are going strong, as seen in their series of photos taken between January to December 2017.

They seemed to be at their happiest whether it's just the two of them spending time together or even when they are joined by their families.
