There were plenty of celebrity babies who were born in 2017.
However, there were also many celebrities and showbiz personalities who passed away this year.

1. Isabel Granada, 41
The actress, born on March 9, 1976, died on November 4 in Qatar due to complications resulting from a brain hemorrhage.
2. Franco Hernandez, 26
The Hashtags member, born on April 1, 1991, died on November 11 due to a drowning accident in Davao Occidental.
3. Tony Calvento, 63
The journalist, born on February 1, 1954, died on October 9 due to massive organ failure.
4. Soxie Topacio, 65
The director, born on June 19, 1952, died on July 21 due to lung cancer.
5. Chinggoy Alonzo, 67
The veteran actor, born on July 22, 1950, died on October 15 due to colon cancer.
6. Alfie Lorenzo, 78
The talent manager, born on January 26, 1939, died on August 1 due to a heart attack.
7. Zeny Zabala, 80
The actress, born on July 21, 1937, died on August 8 due to kidney failure.
8. Amelyn Veloso, 43
The CNN news anchor, born on April 25, 1974, died on August 24 due to liver cancer.
9. Joe Taruc, 70
The radio broadcaster, born on September 18, 1946, died on September 30.
10. Herminio Bautista, 82
The actor-politician, born in 1940, died on February 12.
