"I just want to be prepared": Derek Ramsay when asked if he believes in marriage

KAMI learned that Derek really believes in marriage. On his interview with Tonight With Boy Abunda, he admits that he just want to be prepared when it comes to being married. ABS-CBN Entertainment recently reported about this.

"Yes I do. I have the best and perfect marriage to follow, my parents have been married for over 40 years. So yes." , he said.

"There is a big misunderstanding when it comes to me about 'Does Derek believe in marriage'. I just want to be prepared so that my marriage would last like my parents", he added.

Derek also shared that he and his girlfriend for 3 years have been talking about being married eventually. He admits that Joanne Villablanca is the type of girl that wants to get married.

He said that Joanne moving in to his house is a step to going on that direction. Joanne has a daughter named Sophie, and Derek even joked that he loves Sophie more than Joanne.

Derek will spend his holidays with his friends and family including son Austin on Palawan. He was also asked if what will be his reaction when his son Austin wants to be an actor.

"I would be like, okay. If that is what you want to do, i will support you. But, finish school.", he said.

At the end of his interview, he faced the golden mirror. Boy Abunda asked if what will he say to himself if ever he was asked if it's already time to propose to his girlfriend.

"Paayos mo na tuhod mo, para maka-luhod ka na!", he said while laughing.

Derek is a Filipino-British model, actor, host, and former VJ in the Philippines. He was born in the Cainta Rizal Greenland, but from age 7 was raised in the Philippines.
